MY FIELD EXPERIENCES
As part of the class Edpe3018 we needs to select a school to make five hours of observation. I select the elementary school in Aguadilla Luis Munoz Rivera. The director Javier Javavis give me the permission to observe the classroom of the english teacher of Mrs. Lugo. This teacher receive me very nice in shes classroom. During the morning she gave english for first graders so she had a excellent routine to star the class using songs and rithms. She star to song a song abouth the date, them about the clime and them about the abecedary. Every instrucction she gave she use a song which help that students love the class. This teacher have been the best teacher I ever see I hope some day I can be like her. She is a very good example for their students.
My experience givin a demo class for first grade
I've been giving demo class in history, math, science and spanish but i never give a demo class in english so thats makes me feel more stress about it. I gave my class with 2 of my partners in the classroom and on that day I was very nervous. I thought that students was going to get bored. For my surprise the students was really having fun and they love each activity we made for them. We present a short story about a boy that want to make a picnic with his friends, so he start to look for them around his house. He found each friend on a different furniture of the house. After read the story we present pictures about furniture of the house and then they classify each one. Then they color some sheets we gave to them. Reflecting about my work on this a make a good job because we work in group and each one give some idea, work and thing.

MY EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY .
During the first days of this class we made a educational philosophy based own our knowledge and on what we think we want for us been a teacher. But now after taking this course I can say that I definitely will make some change to my educational philosophy. Before i take the class I did not know about all the teaching methods that exist for teaching English as a second language.
Thinking about on my own educational
philosophy has to be a critical thinking where I can reflect on my way to teach
my thought and who I am. Since the first day I had been making observations on
classroom I detected that the difference is on the teacher. One the
observations for this class I observe a first grade class room where the
teacher tale my attention immediately she has been of the best teacher I ever
seen based on she’s personalized style. One of
the things that I most like about the teachers I had was the enthusiasm they
present when where teaching something they really like and they know. I want to
love what I do. I want that my students follow me. It’s obviously that I had to use the standards
and expectations as the base of my curriculum but I’m not going to follow the
order of the book or been hurry just because I had to end with the material. I
think is very important has the goal for the learning of the students. Every
student is a completely different world so is important that as a teacher you
learned how to get in to them, how to had their attention.
I believe in experiments but not to
make homework’s or project I want experiments in my classroom but to help the
student had the simulation of what we are learning. I believe in John Dewey who
approve “learning by doing”. I really like the Montessori school. I want to
motived my students to keep studying and I want to keep learning by their self’s.
I want that my students learn more than math and science. I want they learn
about been good citizens and I want to talk about God on my classes. I want to
make groups on my classroom and that the parents be part of the learning
process.
Also I will use
as a method on my classes the natural approaches which has a lot of techniques
that we can use for all type of needs and types of intelligences.
